SUMMARY:Fusion Sports Massage – Lower Extremity
DESCRIPTION:Course Description\nFusion Sports Massage is a principle-based approach to manual therapy that focuses not only on what therapists do, but on how and why they do it. Rather than simply adding more techniques to your repertoire, this course explores the principles that determine how effective every technique can become. Through a deeper understanding of force organization, body mechanics, pressure control, movement quality and clinical reasoning, participants learn to deliver treatment that is more precise, more efficient and more effective.\nThis two-day practical course applies these principles to the assessment and treatment of the lower extremity. Rather than teaching techniques in isolation, every practical application is presented within a structured framework that develops understanding, control and confidence, helping therapists refine both their technical skills and the quality of their touch.\nThe course combines clear theoretical concepts with extensive hands-on practice, allowing participants to integrate each principle into a coherent treatment approach. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on therapist body mechanics, seamless transitions, pressure regulation, treatment flow and the practical application of these concepts in clinical practice.\nWhether you work with athletes, active individuals or everyday clients, Fusion Sports Massage – Lower Extremity provides practical strategies to enhance treatment quality while helping you work with greater precision, confidence and long-term physical efficiency.\nCourse Content\nTreatment Techniques and Application\n\nPractical massage techniques for the lower extremity, including work in prone, supine and side-lying positions\nFunctional assessment and observation to help guide treatment choices\nIntegration of movement, mobilisation and assisted stretching within massage treatment\nPositioning and movement of the client to improve access, effectiveness and treatment possibilities\nAdapting techniques and pressure to different clients, treatment goals and tissue responses\nBuilding coherent treatment sequences rather than applying techniques in isolation\n\n \nPrinciples of Execution\n\nDeveloping a deeper understanding of the biomechanical principles that underpin effective body mechanics and their application in massage.\nExploring how force is generated, transferred, directed and controlled, and how this influences therapist efficiency and treatment quality.\nPressure control and the principles that influence its application\nExploring different ways of increasing and modifying the intensity of a technique\nThe use of different contact surfaces and how their selection influences the quality and purpose of a technique\nUnderstanding the role of transitions, rhythm and timing as key elements in creating continuity and treatment flow\nRefining the quality of touch through greater awareness, intention and sensory feedback\n\n \nTeaching Approach\nThe course is predominantly practical, with theoretical principles introduced through demonstration and immediately explored through hands-on practice. Emphasis is placed on understanding the reasoning and mechanics behind each application so that participants can adapt what they learn to their own treatments rather than simply reproduce a fixed routine.\nCourse Fee: : £ 570 (650 €)\nCourse Language: englisch\nInstructor: Slav Marinov \nCourse Date:\nSaturday, 06.
